Marié Digby is a talented acoustic female singer known for her remake of the song "Umbrella" which was originally sang by the R&B singer Rihanna.

About
Singer and songwriter Marié Digby was born on April 16, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Her father is Irish-American and mother Japanese. At a young age she learned how to play the piano and guitar. During high school, she started writing her own compositions. In 2004, the song that she wrote “Miss Invisible” won her the Pantene Pro-Voice Music Competition. After graduation, she attended University of California but left after a year to pursue her music full-time.
She is best known for version of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on YouTube that made her famous in 2007. Where she received great feedbacks. It was featured on MTV’s reality show The Hills. Digby also appeared on Late Call with Carson Daly. Before her famous video on YouTube she was already with Hollywood Records. Digby frequently interviewed in radio stations. She is currently working on her debut album, Unfold, which will be released in 2008.
