Mandy Moore born Amand Leigh Moore is an American Teen Dance Pop Singer and Actress who debuted on 1999. As an actress, Mandy Moore proved to be someone to reckon for her contemporaries as she is scheduled to have movie appearances in the year 2006-2007.

About
Mandy Moore was born April 10, 1984, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Currently she resides in Orlando, Florida with her parents, Don, a pilot, and Stacy, a former news reporter, and her brothers Scott and Kyle. Her passion for singing began when she was still 9 while joining in a singing camp. And soon became known as the "National Anthem Girl" as the sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" in a major sports teams and for Chris Evert's Pro-Celebrity Tennis Tour.
After, she has had several auditions for musical play in local theaters and has appeared in over a dozen of local plays in her area. After which she spent two summers in New York studying theater during the day and performing at night. Then she does modelling in a Mexican Teen magazine.
Soon Epic Record Representative took notice of her and immediately flew down to hear her and after a couple of offer she decided to sing with Sony Music and tour with the Backstreet Boys with her debut single Candy selling over half a million.
Acting Career
Last 2004, Mandy Moore dipped a toe into acting, landing a supporting role as a snobbish cheerleader in The Princess Diaries. Encouraged with the success of the family film, she landed her first leading role in A Walk to Remember. She's got three films : "How to Deal," "Saved" and "Try Seventeen".
