Written by American Rapper-Songwriter LaPret, "Make U See" is his second solo single and recording effort outside of teen Hip-Hop group Profound Intent. This is the rappers second official release. It was produced by XOmusic under South Capitol. The single is about a current girlfriend and a former girlfriend. The first rap talks about his attraction to his current girlfriend, while the second rap talks about a former girlfriend who cheated on him with his former friend.
"Make U See" release in Japan January 2007 and was well accepted by fans. It has been credited as LaPret's second best work to date, replacing its predecessor "Do A Dub". The female vocalist on the single is LaPret's close friend, singer-songwriter Shanice "Nyce" Cooper. The single also features a surprise appearance by his groupmate Devan “Ace” Brockenberry who blesses the record, showing both his and the support of LaPret’s real-life niece Kie’Arra “Mizz Redz” Pretlow who is also a member of the group.
