M2M is a Norweigian pop music duo comprising two girls - Marion and Marit. They had known each other since they were five before releasing their first hit single "Don't Say You Love Me" on 1999.

The duo composed Marit Elisabeth Larsen (born July 1, 1983) and Marion Elise Raven (born May 25, 1984) composed the M2M. Both Marit and Marion met when they were five years old and became good friends. While being together, they found one thing in common for both of them - they liked music a lot and would audition for professional musicals that would give them a part always.
This musicals led them to other musical work like doing sessions on studios at eight. Eventually they started to write their own songs at fifteen as they are not well comfortable singing songs written by older person. According to Marion, "They could not relate to the songs..." And on 1998, a music executive like their audition performance and song lyrics which got them a deal with Atlantic. They started recording for their debut album Shades of Purple and released the album on 2000.
On 2002, after the released of their second album The Big Room they decided to part ways and go on with their solo career. This incident happened after a tour with Jewel, M2M was dropped by Atlantic Records, who cited a lack of record sales, although the album did do well in Norway, Asia, and Australia.
The girls have now reformed and are planning their third, and comeback, album, Rebirth, expected to be released in late 2007 or early 2008.
