Live Like You Were Dying was released on August 24, 2004 under Curb Records. The album spent seven weeks at no.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album won several awards like ACM Single and Song of the Year and has also been nominated for for Best Country Vocal Performance Male and Best Country Album. It has also several hit singles "Live Like You Were Dying", "Back When", "Drugs or Jesus", "Do You Want Fries With That", and "My Old Friend". The biggest hit single in the album is "Live Like You Were Dying" which was no.1 for seven weeks and no.1 as a country music song for the year 2004.
