Little Birdy is an Australian Indie Rock band formed in 2002. The band have performed several of their concerts throughout Australia and several numbers of national festivals including Falls Festival in Lorne Victoria and in Marion Bay Tasmania.

About
Aussie’s very own indie rock band Little Birdy formed in 2002 by singer/ songwriter Katy Steele. Recruiting Simon Leach as guitarist, Scott O’Donoghue on bass and Matt Chequer on drums. The vibrant group played in the local scene and released their self-titled debut album under EMI Records in 2003. It reigned the #1 spot for ten weeks with the hit singles “Relapse” and “Baby Blue”. In 2004, Rolling Stones placed them as one of the Top 10 Artist To Watch.
In 2004, Little Birdy participated in the Livid and Homebake festivals. Later that year, the follow up album, This Is A Love Song, was released. It peaked at #22 on the chart. The band toured extensively around Australia. They settled in Sydney to start on their next issue, BigBigLove, which was released on October 2004. It made its way to #5 on the ARIA Chart. Little Birdy went back on the road to promote the BigBigLove. In 2006, they released Hollywood.
