About

The all-girl pop rock band has a line-up of Tasha-Ray Evin on guitar, Lacey-Lee Evin on keyboard (the older sister of Tasha), Louise Burns on bass and Kim Urhahn on drums. The Evin sisters live in Cranbook, British Columbia. They added Burns and an additional vocalist and called themselves Tigerlily. The girls played gigs at Cranbrook. Tigerlily’s demo tape landed on the hands of Jonathan Simkin and contacted labels. In 2001, they signed in with Maverick Label and changed their name to Lillix.

Lillix added a drummer, Urhahn. In 2003, they released their debut album, Falling Uphill. The album included works with Avril Lavigne, Pink and Alanis Morissette. The single “What I Like About You” was named after the WB comedy sitcom. In 2007, a follow-up album, Inside The Hollow, appeared on stands.

Reviews

Lillix has great singles and beats. The girls have a different image compared to other pop bands. As a group they sound incredible. -Mimi 08:12, 22 June 2007 (PST)
