Lil Jon is an Atlanta based rapper and Hip-Hop producer. He has a group known as Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz which is famous in the 90's.

About
Lil Jon (Jonathan Smith) also known as The King Of Crunk was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi. In 1988, Lil Jon graduated in Atlanta's Douglass High School abd tried to find a job. He landed his first job at a radio station, V103 as a radio show host. He did remixes for artists like Usher, Too Short, Xscape, and Total. When he got a job as club DJ he met Jermaine Dupri, he hired him to be his A&R man and signed him in with So So Def Records.
In 1996, Lil Jon worked with Big Sam and Lil Bo who called themselves The East Side Boyz. He produced the album Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album with the singles "Who You Wit". In 2001, Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz released their second album, Put Yo Hood Up. It included the singles, "Bia Bia" featuring Ludacris, Too Short and Chyna Whyte, the single was a huge hit in the club scenes. The following year Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz released, Kings Of Crunk. It included the successful singles, "I Don't Give a ****" featuring Mystikal and Krayzie Bone, "Get Low" and "from the window to the wall" reaching the R&B Charts in U.S, Germany, France, UK and Australia. In 2003, Lil Jon released the reggae remix of "Get Low" which featured Busta Rhymes, Ying Yang Twins and Elephant Man.
The next year, he produced Usher's #1 hit single "Yeah". He also produced Ciara's "Goodies" and Petey Pablo "Freek-A-Leek". At thesame year Lil Jon released his sixth album, Crunk Juice with producers Rick Rubin, R. Kelly, Ice Cube, Timbaland, Usher, and Ludacris. It included the single "Gasolina" and skits from Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock.
In 2005, Lil Jon worked with Korn. He also appeared on Tony Hawk's video game American Wasteland. Lil Jon is presently working on his upcoming album, Crunk Rock , which is due on 2007.
