Early Life
R&B singer Lil' Mo (Cynthia Loving) was born on 1978 in Long Island, New York. Her family moves constantly due to his father’s job in the military. Lil' Mo didn’t have a problem looking for who she really is, she knew what she wanted and that is, to be an entertainer. Mo entered competitions wherever her family landed.
Early Career
Lil' Mo signed in with Elektra Records forcing her to change her look but she fought and won. In 2001, just before the release of her album, Lil' Mo was being attacked outside a theater in San Francisco. The man hit the singer with a champagne bottle leaving her with two dozens of stitches. When the singer was fully recovered, Lil' Mo released Based On A True Story.
During Lil' Mo's recovery, she wrote songs which was included in her follow-up, Meet The Girl Next Door. It was released in 2003. All of the songs in the album was written by Lil' Mo including "4Ever" that featured Fabulous.
