Lights And Sounds was released on January 24, 2006 under Capitol Records. It was recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. The album is considered as the best selling album of the band. It reached no.5 on the Billboard 200. The album is all about the band's negative insights towards Los Angeles. The album also reached no.4 on the Canadian Top Album Chart. The hit single in the album is "Lights And Sounds" topped no.4 on the modern rock charts, no.6 in Australia and no.11 in New Zealand. The second single "Rough Landing, Holly" did not reached the Billboard charts. The single was featured in the video game Flatout 2.
