Lesley Gore is an American Pop Singer who rose to fame via her hit single, "It's My Party".

About
Lesley Gore or "Lesley Sue Gol" in real life was born on May 2, 1946 in New York City. However, she grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey City. She was discovered by Quincy Jones in a hotel at Manhattan, while Lesley was high school. Quincy was brought to Mercury Records.
Her first single, "It's My Party" was released in 1963 which chartered at #1 on the US Pop Chart. Her next hit singles are, "She's A Fool" You Don't Own Me", "That's The Way Boys Are", "Maybe I Know", "The Look Of Love" and "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows". These are all produced by, Quincy. She also released the singles, "A Groovy Kind of Love" which chartered at #2 on the Billboard Charts and "Wedding Bell Blies" which spent three weeks at #1. Because of Psychedelic music, Lesley's popularity has decreased. She released her last single, "California" in 1969.She pursuer her studies first before going back to music industry. Lesley also did several movie theatres.
