Leona Lewis is a singer and a songwriter from London. She is best known for winning the third series of The X Factor and was known for her hit single "A Moment like This" which was downloaded 50,000 times in the internet.

English singer, Leona Lewis, was born in Islington, London. At the age of 13 years old, she won a talent contest and fell in love with music later. Lewis graduated BRIT School and a degree of Performing Arts and Technology. When she was working as a pizza waitress and receptionist, Lewis also wrote compositions of her own. In 2006, she auditioned for The X Factor and won. At the end of ther year, her very own mater "A Moment Like This" was the cover of Americal Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. The single wasin the number spot in the U.K. Charts for several weeks. In 2007, the aspiring singher signed in with J Records releasing her debut album, Spirit in England. The single "Bleeding Love" crowned the charts. The album was release in the U.S. in 2008.
