LeToya's self-titled debut album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
A month after its release, it was awarded certified Gold by RIAA and in December of the same year it has reached the Platinum status. For that, LeToya was honored to be the first member of Destiny's Child next to Beyoncé to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200 and reached the Platinum status upon release.
This album contains 14 tracks which LeToya co-wrote 10 of it that includes Torn, You Got What I Need, All Eyes On Me and a lot more.
