Late Registration

Late Registration is the second major label album release of hip hop artist and producer Kanye West. The album sold over 904,000 copies in its first week, making the album #1.

Late Registration is a Rap / R&B / Hip-Hop album by Kanye West released in August 30, 2005 under Roc-A-Fella Records.

Kanye West's second effort proved to be saleable like its predecessor. The first released single, Diamonds From Sierra Leone was a sample from the James Bond theme, Diamonds Are Forever. The orignal title was later changes due to confusions with Jay-Z's other track entitled, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse titled "Diamond Is Forever.

It was the only album from 2005 to receive a 5-star review from Rolling Stone, and it was listed at #1 on their end-of year article about the year's 50 Best Albums. Making Kanye West a certified hit-maker.
