Kittie is a Canadian Metal All Female band who rose to fame via their single, "Brackish" which was included in their debut album, Spit.

Kittie was formed in 1996 by sisters, "Mercedes Lander" and "Morgan Lander" with "Fallow Bowman", and "Tanya Candler". In 1999, Tanya left the band to finish her studies and was replaced by, "Talena Atfield".

Their debut album, Spit was released under Artemis Records on that same year. It chartered at #1 on the Heatseekers and #14 on Top Internet Albums. The album features the singes, "Brackish" and "Charlotte". The album is a certified Gold.

Fallon left the band in 2001 and was replaced by "Jeff Phillips". Their next album, Oracle was issued on October 2001. It chartered at #3 on Top Internet Albums Chart. It features the singles, "What I Always Wanted".

Talena left the group in 2002 and was replaced by "Jennifer Arroyo". They added a new member named, "Lisa Marx" in 2004. Their next album, Until The End was issued that year. The album landed at #4 on Top Internet Albums Chart. Their latest album, Funeral For Yesterday was issued last February 20, 2007 under X Records.
