Kid Capri is an Afro-Italian American Hip-Hop artist from Bronx, New York City.

Kid Capri was born on January 1, 1970 of African-Italian-American descent. He was born in Bronx area, New York City. At an early age he started to attend parties within their nearby area and eventually started out as a DJ at a young age of eight. With his unique DJ style, he gained mild fame and attention at Studio 54, a New York City Broadway theater and former discothèque located at 254 West 54th Street in Manhattan.
Soon, he now began selling his sets with his close friend Starchild. His DJ career lasted for seven years as a regular of Def Comedy Jam. Within that time, it also saw him produced several albums from various artists. An LP titled The Tape was released on 1991 on Warner Bros. He appeared in several movies and subsequently released a second ablum Soundtrack to the Streets in 1998. In the present, Kid Capri is managing his own record label company “No Kid’n Records”.
