Kenny Wayne Shepherd is an American musician that earnestly devoted himself to the blues. His latest endeavor involves the upcoming release of his new CD-DVD package entitled 10 Days Out...Blues From The Backroads.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd was born on June 12, 1977 and was a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. At at early age, he was able to figure out for himself Muddy Waters licks, based on how he heard it from his father's record collection. During his early teens, he was invited by blues musician Brian Lee to play onstage with him. Shepherd managed to woo the audiences with his immense musical talent and it continued for several hours. Rethinking what he did, he decided to pursue a career in the music scene.
In 1995, he released debut album Ledbetter Heights under Giant Records which sold more than 500,000 copies by the following year. This immediate success by then young blues-rock musician was a feat that only a few can achieve in one's career.
Three years after, he released another album that showcases the different styles of blues: Trouble Is, which gained him a nomination in the Grammy's. Follow up album Live On was released a year later. In 2004, he released The Place You're In under Reprise wherein he spent more time doing the vocals.
At the opening of the year 2007, expect the release of CD-DVD package from master bluesman Kenny Wayne Shepherd, as he goes back in time and with the people who made major influences of the blues.
