Kelly Price is an American R&B artist. She already recorded and wrote songs for George Michael, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Brian McKnight, LL Cool J and R. Kelly.

Kelly Price was born April 4, 1973 in Queens, New York. Price started in the music industry early. She didn't make it all the way to the front, she started off as a background and guest vocalist for Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Faith Evans and Brian McKnight.
In 1998, she signed with Island Records and released her debut album, Soul Of A Woman. The album featured some well-known artists such as R. Kelly and Ronald Isley. The single, "Friend of Mine", was #1 on the U.S. R&B Charts. Before releasing her second album, she lost over 100 pounds. In 2000, Mirror Mirror, under Def Jam Records was released. The singles "You Should've Told Me" and "As We Lay" was included in this album. In 2001, Price's first christmas album, One Family, hit the shelves. In 2003, she recorded her third album, Priceless, and released it later that year. In 2006, This Is Who I Am, was released under her own laber, EcclectiSounds Records. The album entered the R&B/Hip Hop album chart.
