About

Born Anthony Gerard Kavanagh on November 4. 1977 in Moston, Nanchester, England to parents Rita and Andy Kavanagh. He attended Cardinal Langley High School in Manchester. Before he took a shot at fame, he worked in a fastfood chain (McDonald's) for a week and became a tea boy for Nigel Martin Smiths Recording Studio. He found stardom in the UK and Asia. His eponymous debut album reached the Gold status where more than 100,000 units were sold in UK only. His debut single Crazy Chance was written by Take That's Howard Donald.

By 1998, his sophomore effort followed. In Instinct, Kavana wrote all the songs and was produced by Absolute, a legendary producer famously known for handling the likes of the Spice Girls and Boyzone. From that album spawned hit singles such as Special Kind of SOmething, Funky Love and Will You Wait For Me?.

In 2000, Kavana moved to Los Angeles where he concentrated on a new sound as well as taking a chance as an actor. Six years later, he went back to London where he started his acting career.
