About

Rock band Kasabian grew up in the suburbs called Leicester in 1999. A place where there is nothing much to do. The town was focused on house music with a little bit of hip-hop. The line-up of the band was Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (vocals and guitar), Chris Karloff (guitar and keyboard) and Chris Edwards (bass). Kasabian moved in a farmhouse just 30 miles outside Leicester. They had parties and mini festivals at night but during the day they either play music, watch movies or get inspired for a new idea for the band.

In 2004, Kasabian’s self-titled album was released with the singles “Club Foot”, “L.S.F” and “Processed Beats”. The album entered the Top Five U.K. album chart. In 2006, it was followed by Empire but Chris Karloff quit the band.

Reviews

Kasabian has a style of their own but the influences from Stone Roses and Oasis is still there. They are rockers with a little bit of alternative. Kasabian has an outstanding innovative capability. -Mimi 02:00, 30 June 2007 (PST)
