About
Kaiser Chiefs was formed in 1997. The original members are Nick Hodgson, Simon Rix and Nick Baines. They recruited Andrew White and Ricky Wilson. The band were originally called Runston Parva and later to Parva. They changed their name to Kaiser Chiefs in 2003.
The band released their first single in 2004. Their debut album, Employment was released in 2005. Their next album, Yours Truly, Angry Mob was released in 2007 with their number one hit single, "Ruby".
