Juvenile is an African American gangsta rapper. He rose to fame via his first album, Being Myself.

About

Juvenile was born on March 25, 1975 at New Orleans, Louisiana. He begin his music career when he was still 19 years old by recording a hit song Bounce and a hit album Being Myself under Warlock Records.

In 1997, he released his album, Solja Records under Cash Money Records. The album was a hit. In 1999, Juvenile released his biggest hit album, 400 Degreez. It includes his biggest hit single, Back That Azz Up.

In the end of 1999, he released his album, G-Code followed by Project English in 2001. He left Cash Money Records in 2002 and formed his own collective, the UTP (Uptown Project Playas) Playas in which he released his own Compilation Album.

In 2003, he went back to Cash Money Records. He released his album, Juve The Great under the said recording company. It features his chart-topping hit single, Slow Motion. The song reached number one in Billboard’s Hot 100. His latest album, Reality Check was released in 2006. The album debuted number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
