Justin Guarini is a songwriter/actor who rose to fame on the television show American Idol. He was the runner-up to the winner Kelly Clarkson, One of his single, Before Your Love hits the topping charts.

Justin Guarini was born on October 28, 1978 in Columbus, Georgia. His father was Eldrin Bell who was a former chief of Police in Atlanta, while his mother was Kathy Pepino Guarino who was a journalist in WTVN TV and became a journalist too in CNN. Justin grew up with his mother and stepfather.
At the age of four, Justin joins the Atlanta Boy Choir, one of the world's finest choirs. When they transfer in Pennsylvania, he join the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Boys Choir. Justin also became the lead singer of the award winning acapella group called Midnight Voices. They released an independent album which the benefits will be given to the music scholarship fund of Central Bucks High School in Doylestown, Pennsylvania where he took up his schooling.
His high school and college theatre credits include the lead roles in different musical plays such as, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Little Prince, Pirates of Penzance, Taming of the Shrew and Once on This Island. Justin also became a director and at the same time performer at Riverside Haunted Woods in Bridgetown, Pennysylvania.
Justin also loves to composed musical scores and play piano and guitars as well. After studying vocal lesson and theatre studies at the Universtity of Arts in Pennysylvania, Justin transferred to New York to took up another course which is for film and television. After studying, he worked briefly on Broadway and was recruited by Broadway scouts to join the cast of the Broadway musical The Lion King before auditioning at the Americal Idol in 2002.
Justin became one of the early favorites during the early round of auditions for American Idol's debut season, and become the runner-up to the grand champion Kelly Clarkson. After the show, Justin signed a management contract under American Idol's 19 Management and eventually signed a recording contract with RCA.
His self-titled album, Justin Guarini was released on 2003. He also did a movie with Kelly Clarkson entitled From Justin to Kelly.
In 2004, Justin was cast in the New York Stage and Film Powerhouse Theater presentation the the musical Good Vibrations at Vassar College. While waiting for his second album, he appeared in some independent film projects such as The Unknown: Frankie The Squirrel, Mafioso II: The Son and the short film Tilt-a-Whirl for the Dances With Films Film Festival. Justin also hosted one of VH1's Top 20 Countdown.
Justin released his second album, Stranger Things Have Happened which he produced was independently released in later part of 2005 through his own production company, Justice Entertainment. Justin has been a national spokesperson for Support Music Education since 2004. He has also participated in raising funds for charities like, Habitat for Humanity, Rockers on Broadway, Broadway's Kitchen Sink, Children's World Organization and various children's hospitals.
