The album was released after Timberlakes performance at the 2002 Grammy Awards in which he performed his first ever hit Like I Love You. The performance gave Justin the leverage to be noticed as a talented performer and singer. The album sold millions, making Justin Timberlake one of the greatest and most talented performers of his generation.

  • He used his first and middle name Justin Randall for his appearances on Star Search.
  • Justin has to have an operation on his throat in Los Angeles to get rid of the throat nodules. He is advised to not sing or speak loudly for at least a few months.
