Recorded and released in just a week after winning the Australian Idol, Guy Sebastian's Just As I Am is the fastest selling album ever in Australia, becoming a 3x Platinum in just a week of sales. Three of the songs in the album are written by him, including the chart-topping All I Need Is You. His debut single, Angels Brought Me Here also became the fastest selling single which debuted at number 1 on the ARIA charts. The cover songs in this album are done in his own unique style.

Just As I Am is a perfect introduction to Guy Sebastian's talents. Most of debut albums done for competition winners like him are copies of cover songs just to sell but for Just As I Am, Guy managed to record three of his songs where one of them was a top hit. The cover songs he did in this album are not copies but he did it with his own rendition.
