Judas Priest are a heavy metal band. They have been cited as an influence on many heavy metal musicians and bands. They were called Metal Gods. One of their successful albums is British Steel.

Judas Priest was formed in Birmingham, England on the year 1969. The band was composed of Rob Halford, vocalist; KK Downing and Glenn Tipton in guitars and Ian Hill on bass.
Their debut album, British Steel was released on 1980 and perhaps the first heavy metal album to be recorded in a concise format with radio-friendly songs.
In 1990, their vocalist, Rob left the band and was replaced by Tim Owens. The band has released more than ten studio albums.
In July 2003, the original lead vocalist Rob Halford announced that Judas Priest would be reunited. In 2004, their hugely succesful live concert tour took place.
Judas Priest has been cited as an influence on many heavy metal musicians and bands and were called Metal Gods.
