About
Juan Gabriel or "Alberto Aguilera Valadez" in real life was born on January 7, 1950 in Paracuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. At the age of 13, he already write his own songs. He also attended boarding school in Ciudad Juoz, Chihuahua, but left to work as a craftsman. He also performed in nightclubs and local television under a screen name "Adan Luna". After he learned to play guitar, he changed his name to Juan Gabriel.
Juan went to Mexixo City. In 1971, he released his hit single, " "No Tengo Dinero" (I Have No Money)". His album, Recurdos Vol. II was a big hit, which features the hit single, "Querida" which sold 1.5 million copies in one month. Juan also produced hit albums of Rocio Durcal, Lucha Villa, Lola Beltran and Paul Anka. In span of 14 years, Juan became an international recording star. Over all, Juan has already sold 50 million records album worldwide.
