JoJo is a teenage American R&B and pop singer and songwriter. She's included in the most influential men and women in America. She has a rare talent that has enchanted talk show hosts, celebrities and audiences throughout the United States. And she's determined to take the music world by storm.

JoJo or Joanna Levesque was born on December 20, 1990 in Foxboro, Massachusetts. She listened and learned as her mother practiced hymns. She started singing from nursery rhymes to pop tunes. She auditioned for the television show Kids Say the Darndest Things: On the Road in Boston lead to the young singer wowing the audience along with the show's host and eventually led to a phone call from Oprah Winfrey offering Jojo a spot on her show. It was her appearance on the television show America's Most Talented Kids that brought the call from producer Vincent Herbert. The former Aaliyah, Toni Braxton, and Destiny's Child producer had the young singer signed to Blackground Records and arranged sessions with famed producers like the Underdogs and Soulshock and Karlin. Her debut album was released in June 2004 after her record breaking-single, Leave(Get Out) reached number one on the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream, maiking ehr the youngest solo artist to have a US number one. JoJo starred as an actress starring in the summer comedies Aquamarine with Emma Roberts and RV with Robin Williams.

She released her sophomore album, The High Road in 2006 with the carrier single, "Too Little, Too Late" which reached number 3 on the Billboard hot 100. The album debuted at number 3 also on the Billboard albums chart, behin "The Open Door" and "Press Play".
