Joan Weber was an American Vocal Singer who rose to fame via her hit single, "Let Me Go Lover".

Joan Weber was born on December 12, 1935 at Paulsboro, New Jersey. She was 18 years old when she met her manager, Eddie Joy. They send demo tape at Columbia Records and immediately impressed with her voice. She signed a recording contract with the said company. She released her #1 hit single, "Let Me Go Lover" in 1955 under Columbia Records. The single sold half a million copies. However, by the time the record became a certified hit Joan had given birth to a child, and could not devote the kind of time needed to promote both the song and her career. She was dropped from Columbia's roster. On May 31, 1945, Joan died because of Pneumonia.
