Jo Dee Messina is an American Country Music Singer who rose to fame via her platinum album, I'm Alright.

Jo Dee Messina was born on August 25, 1975 in Holliston, Massachusetts. She formed her own band at the age of 16 years old. She also moved in Nashville and won talent contests.
In 1996, Jo released his first debut single, "Heads Carolina, Tails California". Her self-titled album went gold. Her second album, I'm Alright was released in 1998. Her two singles, "I'm Alright" and "Stand Beside Me" became number 1. Her third album, Burn was released in 2000. Her single from her album, "That's My Way" spent 4 weeks at number 1 on Billboard. Her album went platinum. Three of her singles from this album went number one. Her album, Delicious Surprise was released in 2005.
