Jibbs is another aspiring rapper from Missouri. He has set his destiny in the music industry at a tender age of 16. Famously known for his chart-topping debut single, Chain Hang Low, ranking number 7 in the Billboard 100.

About

Jovan "Jibbs" Campbell was born on the first day of November 1990 in Chicago. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri and stayed there until present. Jibbs started rapping at the age of 9 and eventually learned to write his own songs primarily to impress his older brother, DJ Beatz. As a result, he took Jibbs to his studio to record one of his composition which they sent to Geffen Records.


Jibbs secured a deal from the said label and released his debut single, Chain Hang Low. It ranked number 7 in the Billboard 100 and it all happened before the release of his album Jibbs feat. Jibbs on October 24, 2006.


King Kong became his second single which featured two-time Grammy award nominated rapper, Chamillionaire. His third single was said to be Go Too Far slated for sometime 2007.


At the age of 16, he became one of the youngest hip-hop artist to have great success from their debut album, along with Chris Brown.
