Jesse McCartney is an American pop singer and actor whose claim to fame was on the early 2000's as a member of the boy band Dream Street. Currently he went on to pursue his solo career.

Jesse McCartney was born with Scottish, Irish, and English decent on April 9, 1987 in New York City. He has been performing in local community shows at the young age of seven before joining the children's group Sugar Beats as a vocalist.
At the age of twelve, he joined the American pop boy band Dream Street from 2000 to 2002 where he described the experience as a good stepping stone for his solo career in the future. On the year 2004 at 16 years old, he then decided to pursue with his solo career working on with a local band featuring musicians Dillon Kondor, Peter Chema, Katie Spencer, Alex Russek, Karina LaGravinese, and Sharisse Francisco. All these who helped him produced his first debut album Beautiful Soul released on 2004 which was under the management of Ginger McCartney and Sherry Kondor both co-produced the album.
The album gave McCartney a taste of success when it was certified platinum in the United States. The first single "Beautiful Soul" was voted top ten fifty times by MTV's Total Request Live on 2004.
