Jermaine Dupri is an American Hip-Hop rapper and at the same time a producer. He is the son of a concert promoter and musical manager. He is the youngest producer in the history of music.

About
Jermaine Dupri Mauldin on September 23, 1972. At the age of 10 years old, Dupri's father, Michael Mauldin, an Atlanta manager handled a concert for Diana Ross. Dupri got on stage and started dancing with Ross. He toured around the country as an opening act. In 1987, his production career began. At the age of 14 years old, he produced record for the group, Silk Tymes Leather. In Atlanta, he formed So So Def Records. Dupri became a well-respected producer. He worked with a number of artists such as, TLC on their first two album, Mariah Carey, Run-D.M.C., Whodini and Usher. He also dicovered R&B artists like Kris Kross, Bow Wow, Xscape and Da Brat. Ashanti and Dupri are currently working together for her album which will be released in 2007.
As an artist, Dupri released his debut album, Life In 1472, in 1998. The singles "Money Ain't A Thang" and "The Party Continues". In 2001, he released his sophomore album, Instructions. His latest album, Da Bottom, Vol. 5, had the hit single "Gotta Getcha".
