About

Jennifer Paige was born on September 3, 1973 to a musical family in Marietta, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. At an early age of five, she started to sing at local coffeehouses and restaurants with her elder brother Chance Scoggins.

After her highschool, where she studied dance, voice and performing arts at seventeen, Jennifer Paige relocated to Los Angeles where her musicals continued. She toured with a top 40 covers act Joe's Band. Her break came after she performed in front of 50,000 people at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, where after, she was asked to teamp up with Andy Goldmark known for his ability to create his and develop new, rising stars. While teaming up they first gave rebirth to Aretha Franklin's classical song "Chain of Fools".

The record then instantly came to the attention of Edel Records president Jonathan First which incidentally is looking for a fresh face to establish existence overseas. He was so impressed with Jennifer Paige that he immediately flew to see her and signed a recording deal. Where soon they release her first pop-teen smash hit "Crush" which claimed her to fame.
