Jeffrey Nathaniel Watkins was born on June 1, 1987 in Reidsville, North Carolina. He is better known by his producer name as Madvac or J Wat. In August 2006, his single "Why" reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.
His whole album "Dreams of a Dream" was produced by his music production company, Ahnk Entertainment, which is also a concert promotions company. He is CEO while, his brother half-brother Michael Poteat is President. They are credited for helping out Lil Mama, Shawn Kane, Lic Gang, and Folk G.
At a young age, Watkins begin producing beats. He is a ghost producer for many artists. Artist such as Them Concrete Boyz, Lil Flip, J Smooth ect. Jeffrey has many connections in the music industry and entertainment as well. He is good friends with pro basketball player Tim Duncan. He looks forward to working with Soulja Boy, Trey Songz, Lil Boosie and many more.
