Jeannie Lewis is an Australian artist whose music covers different styles such as folk, jazz, Latin, blues and opera. Oftentimes she collaborates these different genre to form a unique music that often includes strong social consciousness.

About
Jeannie Lewis was born on 1945 in Australia. She began her musical journey as a part of York Gospel Singers and the Radiation Quartet. She released her full length debut album on 1973 entitled Free Fall Through Featherless Flight. The album became an instant hit and was awarded Best Female Vocal Album in the Australian Radio Record Awards.
In the span from 1974 to 2003 Lewis released seven albums: Looking Backwards To Tomorrow, In and Out of Concert, Tears Of Steel and The Clowning Cavaleras, Till Time Brings Change, Piaf, the Songs and the Story, So You Want Blood, Tango Australis, and SOUThHEART respectively.
