About
Born Jasmine Soriano Trias on November 3rd 1986 on Honolulu Hawaii, her ancestral family lives in historical Cavite, Philippines. Born to father Rudy and loving mother Nora, she also has a brother and a sister named Ronel and Neolani.
She finished High School in Maryknoll High School, a catholic high school in Hawaii where she started performing and receiving some recognition for her talents.
Her singing career sparked by joining the third season of the reality television show American Idol where she competed with now close friend Latoya London, who by the way bagged the title. She had that small flower in her ear as a trademark and people absolutely loved sweet vouce and her smile. Trias never ranked last in the online voting since she had a lot of Filipino fans who expressed all-out support for her through the internet. Though she finished third place, she had a multitude of offers both in modelling and singing in her hometowns.
As she went back to Hawaii and the Philippines, she landed contracts for endorsements like that of Flying Home sponsored by Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. In the Philippines, she sang "Love Ko 'To", a local translation of McDonald's tagline "I'm Lovin' It".
In July 2005 she released her debut album in the US entitled Jasmine Trias which was also released in the Philippines.
Her break as an American Idol placer wasn't the end of her career, in fact, it signaled the start of it.

Jasmine Trias sings National Anthem at the ProBowl
Jasmine Trias, proud of the land where she grew up, sang the National Anthem at the ProBowl on last February 10, 2007 in the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. All the fans were excited to watch her performance but was disappointed since that certain part was not aired on television.
