About

Jamille Luney is classically trained in violin and piano since age four. Through collaborative projects and MySpace, her name is spreading fast. She was trained in Studio 7 in Orlando by Alex Teamer who also produces for Colby Odonis, "Izzy". She has also worked with Dexter Redding (former Sony bassist and son of late Otis Redding).

Raised in North Carolina, Jamille was less than two years old when her parents enrolled her in kinder music, a program introducing children to classical music and instruments. Jamille excelled in both violin and piano. However, her love for sports, basketball in particular, overshadowed her love for music. Her friends introduced her to rap, R&B, hip hop, and a friend of her mother's was a jazz bassist.

Over the years Jamille's love for music increased and the desire to play basketball fell by the wayside. Since her heart change, Jamille has performed at Campus Harvest (Christian youth conference with over 3,000 attendees on March of 2003 sponsored by Morningstar International Church), produced female vocal trio "Truvine" (2003), performed in Time Square with "Truvine" (2003), and was scheduled to open for Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child with "Truvine" (event was cancelled).

In the summer of 2003 Jamille relocated to Orlando, Fl where she linked up with Alex Teamer (producer and owner of Studio 7) through Louis Bell (former owner of R.I.P records). Alex took Jamille under his wing, training her in MIDI and audio sequencers with the help of artists/producer Israel "Izzy" Bell. It was in that very same studio that Jamille met her former roommate "Danielle Renee" Adams (vocalists and audio engineer for Ron Kenoly) and later Dexter Redding. Jamille resides in Florida working on projects with independent artists and perfecting her craft. Her latest collaborative project was with Alfred Gaines aka AJ (producing for Def Jam).
