Jamie Foxx is a well respected American actor, comedian and R&B singer. He has a self-title show called The Jamie Foxx Show.

Actor and singer, Eric Morlon Bishop, Jr a.k.a. Jamie Foxx was born on December 13, 1967 in Terrell, Texas. As a child, he learned how to play the piano. Jamie Foxx entered the business as a comedian. In 1994, he recorded his debut album, Peep This, which didn't have much success.
In 2001, Foxx hosted the MTV Video Music Awards. It was in 2004, when he got the attention of various artists in the music industry. He was featured in Twista's "Slow Jamz", Kanye West's "Gold Digger" (both singles reached #1 on the Billboard Top 100) and Ludacris "Georgia". Foxx also played a legendary soul artist in the 50's, Ray Charles on the film Ray. In the film he sang "I Got a Woman". On 2005, his second album, Unpredictable, was released.
