Isobel Campbell is a Scottish musician and a singer. She released her debut album Amorino under her own label, which received good reviews from the critics.

Isobel_Campbell was born on April 27, 1976 in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1996, she was on of the founder of a group called Belle & Sebastian with Stuart David and Stuart Murdoch. The group released their debut, Tigermilk, under Electric Honey Label. It was followed by If You’re Feelin Sinister later that year. Belle and Sebastian had a successful career. In 1998, Campbell had her first solo vocal singing “Is It Wicked Not to Care?”.

In 1999, Campbell went on a solo flight for her music career but did not leave Belle and Sebastian. She released her full-length debut album, The Green Fields of Foreverland…, under Jeepster Records. In 2002, she co-wrote “Legal Man” which was a Top 20 hit on the UK chart. The following year, Campbell issued her follow-up album, Amorino. She came back with Ballad of the Broken Seas in 2006. Two years later, the singer workerd with Screaming Trees’ Mark Lanegan on Sunday at Devil Dirt which appeared on stands in 2008.
