Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden is the forefront of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Maiden’s critics usually claimed them as to be Satanists due to Maiden’s dark musical themes emphasized by their virtual representation, Eddie. Maiden as one of the legends in the Rock genre with air-gasping fast paced mixture of anticipation and trepidation rolled into Iron Maiden’s artistic expressions.

About

Iron Maiden was formed in 1976 by the great bassist of the band, Steve Harris, together with Maiden’s rhythm guitarist, Tony Parsons, drummer Doug Sampson, and vocalist Paul Di’ Anno. Maiden first played on local areas in the ‘70s all around London, England. Maiden’s big break approached when lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, finally got the slot. By then, Iron Maiden became one of the most influential bands ever to emerge in the music industry. Until now, Iron Maiden’s legacy is still out nurturing all out coming artists still to bloom, and to say a few of the veterans like Anthrax, Helloween, Metallica, and Slipknot.

24/10/2006 Metal gods Iron Maiden still 'Matter'

IRVINE, California - Iron Maiden has never been a band to approach its career on bended knee and with nostalgic sentiments; the British metal veterans proved why they don't have to Saturday night in the sold-out finale of their North American tour in Irvine.

As was the case throughout the tour, they performed the new album 'A Matter of Life and Death' in its entirety, with five deeper, career-spanning cuts performed later in the show.
