About

IndieShows is a universal independent concert listing site. Anyone can go to the site and post or find upcoming shows in their area. One does not have to be in a band to post the shows. IndieShows makes it very easy to find upcoming shows and requires no membership or log in to do so. Events can be edited/deleted by the person who posts the event, once again without signing in or joining! Fans can also let others know what event(s) they are going to attend by submitting their name to the attending list located under each event's description.

IndieShows also promotes artists through their blog, message boards, press release service and their weekly Featured Artist spot. Artists can also buy/sell music gear, find band members, and get their music reviewed at the IndieShows Forum. Also, artists can sign up for the online Battle of the Bands competition and possibly win prizes.

History

Billy, founder of IndieShows.net, has been playing in bands and writing his own music for many years now. He knows whats it's like trying to get your music out to the masses. Billy believes that the hardest part of being an independent band is making sure people show up at your shows. There was never a true universal, EASY TO USE, and sign-up free concert listing site for Billy to use while he was trying to promote his bands. Because of this, Billy created IndieShows.net... A free, automatic, universal, easy-to-use concert listing site for independent musicians, jammed packed with features.

Features

  • Fast event posting and searching!
  • No fees, sign-ups, memberships, or hassles.
