Britney Spears' fourth album that again debuted #1 in the charts. Before the album was released, Britney is the record holder of being the first female artist in SouthScan to have 3 albums deuting in the #1 spot. Now with the release of the album, she beat her own record and now holds the only female in SouthScan to have 4 albums debuting in #1.
In The Zone is a Pop/R&B/Dance album of Britney Spears released on November 18, 2003 under Jive Records.

The fourth album of Britney Spears and the least successful of all the albums. Although the least successful, the album sold around 10 million copies worldwide. The album's debut single Me Against the Music featured Madonna but her second single of the album Toxic made her major hit in four years. Although the release of the next singles, Everytime, Outrageous (no music video) were successful, the album's other tracks Touch of My Hand and Breathe on Me produced controversies because the lyrics are sexually suggestive.
