Icky Thump is the sixth studio album by the duo The White Stripes. The album sold 367,672 copies in the US. Icky Thump is severely affected by the loudness war, so much so that copies of the Steve Hoffman-mastered vinyl edition are sought after and vinyl rips are widely distributed online.

Icky Thump was released on June 15, 2007 under Warner Brothers. The album was a big hit in several countries like in U.K. which became no.1 on the Billboard 200 and no.2 on the U.S. Chart. The album has several singles including the "Icky Thump" track which hit no.2 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart and no.2 on the U.K. Chart. The track was written by the band member Jack White. The second single "Rag And Bone" is all about the two rag and bone collectors cited by Jack and Meg White.
