About

Released only after 6 months of her debut album, So Real, Her second album, I Wanna Be With You was released on May 2000 under Sony 550 Music International.

When her first album didn't do so well, 550 acted upon shuffling order of the songs, remix a couple of tracks, and shot a couple of glamorous and sexier look of the underage Mandy Moore to pace up with some the dominating teen sensation like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. A crass marketing move making the album more disposable to the market. The album is pretty fun, a mixed of ballads and dance number. In this album it is said that Mandy Moore captures the bronze for female teen pop divas in 2000

The album wasn't a major hit but was certified 2x platinum in Philippines. The album also reached #49 in Japan, selling 15,760 copies.
