The album was a follow-up on the first album (major release) The Spirit Room. Fusing the acoustic guitars with piano-led vocals, the album gives an adult contemporary pop sound. The album features the hit single Are You Happy Now? from which she was nominated as Best Female Rock Performer in the 2004 Grammy Awards.
