Hot Chip

Hot_Chip is an Alternative electro pop band formed in 2000. The band contribute the song "Babongo Tribe Remix" to the Survival International charity album, Songs for Survival.

Hot_Chip came to be in 2000 at London England. The line-up consist of Alex Taylor (vocals/piano/synthesizer/ percussion/guitar), Joe Goddard (vocals, percussion, synthesizer), Owen Clarke (guitar/synthesizer), Al Doyle (backing vocal/guitar/synthesizer/percussion), Felix Martin (drums). Taylor and Goddard were co-workers and went to Elliot School, Putney, London together. The band had self-released albums like Mexico (2000), Sanfandisco E-Pee (2002) and The Barbarian (2005).
In 2005, Hot_Chip signed in with DFA Records releasing Coming on Strong in 2004. It was followed by an exquisite album, The Warning in 2006. All through 2007, Hot Chip went on an extensive tour promoting The Warning. The following year, they came back with Made in the Dark.
