Hopes and Fears is the debut album of rising band Keane. The band gained notoriety with their eclectic sounds and rhythmic talents in hit singles Somewhere Only We Know and Everybody's Changing. Nowadays, Keane has dozens of fan base all over the world.

About

The album was named after one of their unreleased singles "Snowed Under". The cover consists of piano hammers or 'cochin', created in 1912. The album had different colored covers for diffrent countries: UK has green, Europe has black, US has white, international has a red-brown scheme and Japan has blue.
