Hood Hop is the debut album of American southern rapper J-Kwon released on 2004.

Hood Hop was released on March 30, 2004 by Arista Records. This is the first and last album he released through the label and is currently signed under Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records. The album features the hit single "Tipsy" which peaked at #1 in the Hot R&B charts and "You and Me" which is not as successful as the former. The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

  • When the music video was filmed for the single "Tipsy", which was an obvious remake of Gin & Juice by Snoop Dogg. Strangely on the set of this music video, a shot was fired from a passing vehicle. The shot hit a window of a van, but no one was hurt.
