Home is the sixth studio album by the girl band Dixie Chicks. The album sold 6 million copies in the U.S. alone and 2 million copies in Australia. Dixie Chicks won 4 Grammy Awards for this album.

Home was released on August 22, 2002 under Sony Records. The album grab the no.1 hit spot on the The Billboard 200, Top Country Albums and Top Internet Albums Chart. The album also won several Grammy Awards Best Country Album, Best Recording Package, Best Country Instrumental Performance and Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. It was produced by Lloyd Maines. While promoting their album the lead singer of the band Natalie Maines made a comment about George W. Bush which made the other people boycott their cd. Despite of the controversies the album was still a big hit not only in U.S. but also in the other countries. The album has several singles like "Landslide" which was no.1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart. "Long Time Gone" which topped no.2 on Hot Country Singles & Tracks Chart. The third single "Travelin' Soldier" peaked no.1 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks Chart. The album also has a deluxe edition that features a remix done by Sheryl Crow and a DVD containing three videos.

  • The single "Landslide" was originally recorded by Fleetwood Mac in 1975.
  • "Godspeed" was originally recorded by Radney Foster. His wife suggested sending it to the Dixie Chicks because Natalie Maines just had a baby.
